Okpebholo Praises Edo Assembly for Collaborative Efforts

On Easter Sunday, Governor Mondai Okpebholo praised the Edo State House of Assembly for fostering a cooperative relationship with the executive branch. During a visit to Irrua in the Esan Central Local Government Area, he acknowledged the contributions of the lawmakers, led by Speaker Bless Agbebaku, to the administration's achievements since he assumed office in November 2024.

Okpebholo highlighted the significance of this synergy in facilitating progress, particularly in infrastructure development, and noted the Assembly's role in approving budgets aimed at delivering democratic dividends to the people. He urged lawmakers to maintain unity and a peaceful cooperative environment to ensure the successful implementation of government programs.

Speaker Agbebaku reaffirmed the Assembly's commitment to supporting the administration's policies and projects, including the construction of Edo State's first flyover, which he described as a historic milestone for the state.
