Okpebholo and Customs Chief Promote Ramadan Virtues

Senator Mondai Okpebholo, the Governor of Edo State, issued a statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Patrick Ebojel, urging Nigerians to embrace the virtues of sacrifice, tolerance, and selflessness during the holy month of Ramadan. He extended warm greetings to the Muslim community in Edo State and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of Ramadan.

Okpebholo commended the Muslim community for their devotion and discipline throughout the fasting period, highlighting the importance of fostering peace, unity, and societal prosperity. He encouraged citizens to maintain these virtues beyond Ramadan and to work collectively towards sustainable progress in Edo State.

Similarly, Ogun 1 Area Command Idiroko Olukayod Afeni of the Nigeria Customs Service congratulated Muslims nationwide, emphasizing the significance of the holy month for spiritual reflection and community harmony. Afeni called for vigilance in safeguarding national borders and maintaining peace and unity among citizens.
