Odigie Clarifies Remarks on Okpebholo's WAEC Claims

Princ Emmanuel Odigie, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), clarified his previous remarks about Edo State Governor Senat Mondai Okpebholo during an appearance on Arise Television's morning show on Thursday. Odigie addressed allegations that Okpebholo was unable to pass the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) exam in 2008, even at a so-called 'miracle center.' He emphasized that he did not claim Okpebholo did not attend school but reiterated that he could not pass the WAEC exam in 2008.

Odigie described himself as a "fearless man" who speaks the truth and encouraged the public to review the tape of his original statement. He also noted that the focus should be on the future rather than past political disputes, as the electorate will decide the outcome of future elections.

Odigie mentioned that he respects the need to engage constructively rather than dwell on past controversies.
