Okpebholo Advocates Selfless Service at Orbih's Funeral

During the funeral Mass for Chief Daniel Osikheme Orbih, the late Chairman of the Governing Council of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Edo State Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo called on public office holders to lead selfless lives and improve society. The service took place at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ogbona, Edo State.
Okpebholo expressed his emotional reflections on life and death, recalling his previous visit to the church for Orbih's birthday. He emphasized that wealth and positions do not change the reality of death and prayed for Orbih's family to find strength in their loss.
He also thanked Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, for supporting Orbih's family during their mourning. Wike acknowledged the pain of losing a close friend and reaffirmed his cordial relationship with Okpebholo.
In his homily, Most Rev. Dr. Gabriel Dunia urged attendees to reflect on life's transient nature and the inevitability of death.
