Oshiomhole and Ahmed Named Ambassadors for Okpekpe Race

The Okpekpe International 10km Road Race, scheduled for May 23 in Okpekpe, Edo State, has appointed former Edo State Governor Adam Oshiomhole and Yasser Ahmed as ambassadors. This appointment by Pamodzi Sports Marketing highlights their contributions to the race's growth and international recognition.

The race, which began in 2013, has achieved a gold label status from World Athletics, making it the first in West Africa to earn such a distinction. Oshiomhole's tenure as governor is credited with the infrastructural developments that facilitated the race's inception.
