Thousands Attend Inaugural 'Owo Praise the Lord' Event

The maiden 'Owo Praise the Lord' worship gathering, organized by entrepreneur Bukunyi Olagbegi, took place at the Methodist Primary School in Owo, Ondo State, attracting approximately 7,000 worshippers. The three-hour program featured performances from prominent gospel ministers, including Yinka Ayefele, Bidemi Olaoba, Funmi Aragbaiy, Adeyinka Alaseyori, and Elijah Daniel, with Wole Oladiyun delivering a prophetic message.

Comedian Woli Arol served as the event's anchor. Olagbegi's initiative aimed to celebrate the deep-rooted Christian heritage and cultural identity of Owo, bringing attention to the town's historical significance.

The event was designed to foster a sense of community among indigenes of Owo, both within Nigeria and in the diaspora. Attendees, including Adeola Travel Ikar, described the experience as memorable, highlighting the powerful worship atmosphere.

The event concluded with prayers for peace and progress in Owo, reflecting Olagbegi's commitment to the community.
