Olam Agri Launches Tru Value Cattle Feed in Nigeria

On 15 September 2026, Olam Agri launched its Tru Value cattle feed range in Nigeria, marking a significant expansion of its Integrated Feed & Protein (IFP) business. This launch broadens Olam Agri’s feed portfolio beyond poultry and aquaculture, enhancing its role in livestock nutrition solutions.

The event took place in Kaduna State and was attended by Alhaji Idi Maiha, the Minister of Livestock Development, along with government officials, commercial farmers, and industry stakeholders. Sharad Gupta, President & Global Head of Integrated Feed & Protein at Olam Agri, described the launch as a pivotal step in the company's evolution, aimed at improving cattle farming systems.

The Tru Value range includes three products: Tru Value Beef Pellet, Tru Value Beef Plus Pellet, and Tru Value Dairy Pellet, all developed through extensive research to support livestock productivity. Minister Maiha emphasized the importance of quality animal nutrition for enhancing farm productivity and food security, commending Olam Agri's investment in innovative feed solutions.
