Old politicians still oppose my decisions as gov – Eno

Eno Eno, the governor of a state, revealed that old politicians are still opposing his decisions. He emphasized that the era of knowing someone to get a job in the state civil service has ended, stating that all applicants must pass a test.

While speaking in Ikot Ekpene, he highlighted his efforts in digitalizing the state civil service operations. Eno expressed frustration with the old politicians who continue to criticize his work, despite not offering workable solutions themselves.

He stressed the importance of merit-based appointments and the need for qualified individuals to drive progress. Eno also acknowledged his predecessor, Udom Emmanuel, but asserted that he now represents the majority of the people in Akwa Ibom state.

He emphasized that his focus is on digitalization as a means of creating equal opportunities for all.
