Oyo Governor Compensates Families of Victims in Old Oyo National Park

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State visited the Old Oyo National Park to compensate the families of forest guards killed, offering scholarships and promising infrastructure projects. He pledged to enhance security, including requesting a military base in Oloka.

Makinde emphasized community involvement in security and urged residents to report suspicious activities. The compensation includes N5 million for each family and scholarships for the deceased guards' children to attend university.
