Oyo Governor Makinde Visits Attack Site, Announces Scholarships and Compensation

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde visited the site of the recent killings at Old Oyo National Park in Oloka Village. He announced scholarships and financial compensation of ₦5 million for each affected family.

Makinde promised to improve security, infrastructure, and living conditions in the area, including requesting the establishment of a military base in Oloka. He urged residents to provide timely information to security agencies and assured ongoing efforts to safeguard lives and properties.

The governor also emphasized the need for telecommunications and security fortifications to prevent future incidents.
