Olubadan Urges New Mogajis to Prioritize Community Security

Olubadan Rashidi Ladoja has tasked the newly appointed 22 Mogajis and Baales with the critical responsibility of enhancing security within their communities. This call to action was made during their installation at the Olubadan Palace in Oja'ba, Ibadan South East Local Government Area.

Ladoja highlighted that security is a significant challenge facing Nigeria and urged the new leaders to be vigilant and proactive in their roles. He emphasized the importance of collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, encouraging the youth to engage with these agencies.

The installation of the Mogajis and Baales is part of a traditional leadership structure, with the first installation occurring on September 26, 2025. Ladoja also noted ongoing efforts to combat land grabbing, which poses a threat to community security.

The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Balogun Ibadanland Tajudeen Ajibola and other notable figures.
