Olubadan Launches Ibadan Community Guard for Security

On Tuesday, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rasidi Ladoja, inaugurated the Ibadan Community Guard aimed at addressing security challenges in the region. This initiative will be implemented across eleven local government areas in Ibadanland.

The ceremony was held at the Olubadan Palace located in the Ibadan North Local Government Area of Oyo State. The event was attended by members of the Olubadan Council, including former Minister of Industry, Onikepo Akand, and Dotun Sanusi, President General of the Central Council of Ibadanland.

Additionally, the inauguration coincided with the establishment of the Ibadan Economic Investment Business Development Desk and a food security initiative, indicating a broader focus on community development and safety in the ancient city.
