Oluremi Tinubu to Attend National Para Games Closing Ceremony

Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria and a Senator, has confirmed her presence at the closing ceremony of the 3rd edition of the National Para Games, which will take place at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja. The National Sports Commission (NSC) disclosed that her attendance is expected to enhance the event's success and celebrate the country's finest para-athletes.

As a strong advocate for the development of Nigerian sports, Tinubu has been actively involved in sponsoring para sports and supporting individuals living with disabilities. She serves as the grand patron for the upcoming 2025 Africa Women’s Volleyball Club Championship, which will also be held in Abuja.

The 2026 Para Games competition commenced last weekend, featuring 12 sports and numerous athletes representing Nigeria.
