Oluyede Wins Ekiti PDP Governorship Primary in Closely Contested Election

Oluyede emerged victorious in the Ekiti PDP Governorship Primary, securing 279 votes to defeat Funso Ayeni and Funmilayo Ogun. The primary, held in Ado Ekiti, featured tight security measures with 535 delegates from 177 wards participating.

Oluyede praised the transparency of the process and vowed to rebuild trust within the party. Key figures like Ambassador Iliya Damagum and Governor Seyi Makinde were acknowledged for ensuring a level playing field.
