Omidiran Becomes FCC Sports Club Patron, Advocates Exercise

Hulayiat Motunrayo Omidiran has been appointed as the patron of the FCC Sports Club, where she called for periodic exercise among staff to enhance a culture of sports activities, promote healthier lifestyles, and encourage teamwork. Omidiran made this call during a courtesy visit from members of the FCC Sports Club at the Federal Character Commission headquarters in Abuja.

She highlighted the role of sports in building discipline, unity, and teamwork within the institution, stating that engaging in sports teaches selflessness and the importance of thinking beyond oneself for collective success. Omidiran stressed that a healthy workforce is critical for effective service delivery and encouraged the integration of sports activities for staff across different age groups.

Jamilu Musa Abdullahi, representing the sports club management, expressed gratitude to Omidiran for accepting the role of patron, believing that sports can strengthen teamwork and promote a healthy lifestyle among staff.
