They highlighted a rally by Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Igboho and social media posts as potential threats to Aregbesola's safety. The group also mentioned a disruption at an African Democratic Congress rally in Ogun State where Aregbesola was scheduled to speak, further deepening suspicions of political interference.

Omoluabi Progressives called for urgent action to ensure the safety of Aregbesola, emphasizing his contributions to Yoruba society and the need to protect his political rights. They warned against any harm towards Aregbesola and urged security agencies to act decisively to prevent any escalation of threats.
