Omowunmi Dada Declares No Marriage Without Shared Faith

Actress Omowunmi Dada discussed her non-negotiable requirement for a life partner to share her Christian faith during an interview with VJ Adams. She recounted a previous relationship where her partner initially identified as Christian but later expressed a desire to fast for his mother's happiness, which led to a realization for Dada that their relationship could not continue.

She emphasized her intention to raise her children within the Christian faith and the necessity of having a husband who shares these beliefs. Dada noted that her former partner attempted to persuade her to stay in the relationship by offering to attend church with her; however, he also wanted their future children to visit a mosque and learn about Islam.

This fundamental difference in their vision for family life was a significant factor in her decision to end the relationship. Dada clarified that she holds no prejudice against Muslims and has Muslim friends whom she respects.
