Omowunmi Dada Ends Relationship Over Religious Differences

Nollywood actress Omowunmi Dada disclosed in an interview with VJ Adams that she ended her relationship upon discovering her partner had started observing Islamic practices, despite initially presenting himself as a Christian. Dada recounted that she met the man while he identified as a Christian, but his stance changed when Ramadan began.

He informed her that he was fasting to please his mother, which led Dada to realize that their relationship could not continue. She expressed her desire to marry a practicing Christian and raise her children within the Christian faith.

Although the man attempted to persuade her to stay in the relationship by offering to attend church with her, Dada maintained that this was insufficient, as he also wished for their future children to visit the mosque and learn about Islam. She stated, “I have nothing against Muslims; I have Muslim friends who are amazing people, by the way.

But for the kind of family that I want to raise, I would love to raise my children the Christian way.”.
