Ondo AG Commends Governor Aiyedatiwa on Legal Reforms

Dr. Olukayode Ajulo, the Attorney General of Ondo State, praised Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his steadfast support towards the transformation of the legal sector in Ondo State.

Ajulo highlighted the governor's commitment to instituting reforms in the administration of justice, which he described as visionary and impactful in strengthening the rule of law. This commendation followed the passage of two significant amendment bills by the Ondo State House of Assembly on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

These amendments aim to enhance the efficiency of the legal framework within the state, specifically amending the Ondo State Law Commission Law of 2001 and the Ondo State Office of Public Defender Law of 2004. Ajulo characterized this development as a milestone in ongoing efforts to reposition the justice sector in line with modern realities and best practices.

He expressed optimism that the assent to these amendments would further improve justice delivery and bolster public confidence in the legal system.
