Aiyedatiwa Commits to Justice Reform in Ondo State

Ondo State Governor Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa expressed his commitment to strengthening legal institutions and improving justice administration in the state.

This declaration was made during the inauguration of a bar center donated to the Ondo branch of the Nigerian Bar Association in Ondo Town. Aiyedatiwa highlighted the critical role of the legal profession in defending constitutional democracy and maintaining public confidence in justice.

He noted that democracy risks losing its moral foundation without a courageous and independent legal profession. The bar center, which includes a reception area, hall, library, conference room, cafeteria, lawyer lounge, and office for the Legal Aid Council, aims to promote mentorship and intellectual engagement among lawyers.

Tayo Oyetibo SAN remarked on the project's significance in strengthening the legal profession, while Wole Olanipekun SAN commended Oyetibo's generosity and commitment to supporting younger practitioners.
