Ondo State Declared Most Peaceful by Governor Aiyedatiwa

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa stated during a media parley on Friday that Ondo is the most peaceful state in Nigeria. He asserted that no governor in Nigeria has ever received the number of votes he did to become governor of Ondo State.

Aiyedatiwa emphasized that the state is not characterized by political noise, contrasting it with other regions. He noted that Ondo is the second largest holder of bitumen deposits in the world, following Canada, and mentioned that exploration activities are currently being conducted by two companies that hold licenses from the Ondo State government.

Aiyedatiwa remarked that while there may be occasional public discussions, the overall atmosphere in Ondo is peaceful, and the people do not require excessive promotion of this peace.
