Teenager Arrested for Stabbing Boyfriend in Ondo

On June 12, 2026, in Okitipupa, Ondo State, a 19-year-old woman named Omowol Opeyemi was arrested by the Ondo State Police Command for allegedly stabbing her 22-year-old boyfriend during a physical altercation. The argument escalated at a club located along Broad Street, where Opeyemi reportedly attacked the victim with a broken bottle.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim sustained injuries and was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Abayomi Jimoh, the spokesperson for the Ondo State Police Command, confirmed that the suspect was taken into custody following the incident.

A video shared on Ikal Heritage TV featured Opeyemi recounting the argument that led to the stabbing. The victim, identified as Tosin, survived the attack, which was reportedly linked to a stolen phone.
