Woman Cuts Boyfriend's Organ Over Marriage Plans in Kano

In Kano, a woman reportedly attacked her boyfriend in a hotel, using a sharp knife to cut off his private organ after discovering his plans to marry another woman. The incident was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, in a statement released on Monday.

Following the report, the Divisional Police Officer led a team of detectives to the scene, where the suspect was apprehended, and the weapon was recovered as evidence. The victim was promptly taken to Abubakar Imam Urology Hospital for medical treatment.

CSP Kiyawa stated that investigations are ongoing, and Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, condemned the violent act, urging the public to refrain from taking the law into their own hands. He assured that the police command would carry out a thorough investigation and ensure the suspect is prosecuted according to the law.
