Overloaded Trailer Crash in Yobe Kills One, Injures 87 Passengers

A tragic road accident in Yobe resulted in one fatality and 87 injuries as an overloaded trailer overturned on the Potiskum-Azar Highway. The trailer, carrying nearly 100 passengers heading to the popular Potiskum cattle market, lost balance and overturned near a roundabout.

Survivors, including Amir Dauda, narrated the chaos and injuries sustained. The injured were rushed to hospitals, with limited bed space due to the high number of casualties.

Authorities, including the Yobe State Police Command and emergency workers, responded to manage the scene and provide medical attention. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
