Truck Accident in Yobe Kills Three, Injures 40 Along Gombi-Potiskum Road

A tragic incident in Yobe resulted in the death of three individuals and injuries to 40 others when a canter truck rammed into a crowd sitting by the roadside along the Gombi-Potiskum road. The crash occurred near Badejo town in Potiskum local government area.

Paul Andrew from the Federal Road Safety Corps confirmed the incident, attributing overloading and speeding as the main causes. The accident highlighted the dangers of overloaded vehicles and speeding, especially in busy market areas.

Quick rescue operations were carried out, emphasizing the need for drivers to adhere to safety regulations to prevent further loss of lives.
