Iginla: Peter Obi Can Challenge Tinubu in 2027 Elections

During a live Sunday service, Prophet Joshua Iginla of the Champion Royal Assembly expressed that only Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, has the potential to give Bola Tinubu, the president and leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), a tough fight in the upcoming 2027 presidential elections. Iginla emphasized the importance of Obi selecting a northern deputy to strengthen his candidacy against the APC.

He warned Obi against choosing a vice-presidential candidate who lacks political relevance, suggesting that it would be better to remain politically inactive than to make a poor choice. Additionally, the former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, is currently in discussions regarding possible support for Obi's presidential ticket, indicating potential political alignments ahead of the elections.
