Onuachu's Scoring Streak Continues in Trabzonspor Win

In a Super Lig match on Friday, Trabzonspor secured a 3-1 victory against Fatih Karagümrük, with Paul Onuachu continuing his impressive scoring streak, now at eight consecutive games. Onuachu opened the scoring in the 20th minute, but Karagümrük equalized through Daniel Verde in the 28th minute.

Chibuik Nwaiwu then took charge, netting two goals shortly after the restart, in the 47th and 50th minutes, to seal the win for Trabzonspor at Medici Park Stadyumu. This result keeps Trabzonspor in third place in the Super Lig table with 51 points, four points behind second-placed Fenerbahçe, who occupy the UEFA Champions League qualifying spot.

Onuachu has scored 18 goals in 21 league appearances this season, surpassing his previous tally of 15 goals during his loan spell. His consistent performance has attracted interest from Saudi Pro League club Al Ahli, who are reportedly willing to triple his current wage of approximately 48,000 per week to lure him away from Trabzonspor, where he is under contract until 2028.
