Onuigbo Submits Senate Forms, Praises Tinubu's Leadership

Onuigbo, a member of the APC, submitted his nomination forms for the Abia Central senatorial ticket in Abuja. He praised President Tinubu's leadership, stating that it has provided a unique opportunity for consensus-building within the party.

Onuigbo explained that the 2026 Electoral Act allows for direct primaries, which he believes will benefit the democratic choices of the party. He emphasized the need for discipline and warned against supporting candidates with dual loyalties.

Onuigbo, who has served two terms in the House of Representatives for the Ikwuano, Umuahia North, and Umuahia South federal constituencies, expressed confidence that he would emerge as the APC candidate and win the election, citing his track record and commitment to improving services for the people of Abia Central. He also highlighted the infrastructural development in the South East and assured constituents of his dedication to their needs.
