Tinubu Secures Overwhelming Support in APC Primaries

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), received overwhelming support in the party's presidential primary elections, as announced on the results collated on the previous day. Tinubu scored 208,082 votes in Rivers State, with his opponent Stanlei Osifo receiving zero votes.

In Sokoto State, Tinubu garnered 301,000 votes, again with Osifo receiving no votes. In Abia State, Tinubu achieved 161,005 votes against Osifo's 1,002 votes, while in Kwara State, he secured 310,990 votes, with Osifo again receiving zero votes.

Tinubu expressed excitement over the massive support from party members, viewing it as a challenge to do more for Nigeria. He emphasized the importance of internal democracy within the APC and the need for grassroots participation in the political process.

Tinubu reaffirmed his administration's commitment to democratic ideals and improving the welfare of Nigerians, urging continued support for democratic institutions.
