Ooni Ogunwusi Urges Peace for Adeleke's Campaign in Osun

Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi welcomed the Imole Campaign Council, which is spearheaded by Prof. Wale Oladipo, on Friday as they sought royal blessings to commence the re-election campaign for Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke. The delegation included Osun State Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi and Senator Lere Oyewumi.

Ooni Ogunwusi emphasized the importance of peace, urging politicians to avoid violence and hate speech as the state prepares for the governorship election scheduled for August 15. He called on all political factions to prioritize peace and love, stating that the world is watching Osun.

Prof. Oladipo reiterated the campaign's commitment to a violence-free election, highlighting that the focus should be on development and allowing the people to choose their leaders. The campaign team expressed confidence in Adeleke's governance, citing infrastructure developments such as the completion of the Citi Flyover Road.
