OPay Extends N1.2bn Scholarship to Bayero University Kano

OPay Digital Services Limited has extended a N1.2 billion scholarship program to Bayero University Kano (BUK) as part of its commitment to advancing education in Nigeria. The scholarship initiative aims to empower young Nigerians by reducing financial barriers to quality education.

Through a recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BUK, OPay will support students across 20 tertiary institutions nationwide. The Vice Chancellor of BUK, Professor Haruna Musa, expressed gratitude for the scholarship scheme, emphasizing its impact on easing the financial burden for students pursuing education.
