UNN Partners with OPay in N1.2B Scholarship Program for Nigerian Students

The University of Nigeria Nsukka has partnered with OPay in a N1.2 billion 10-year scholarship program aimed at supporting indigent students across 20 tertiary institutions in Nigeria. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing took place in Nsukka, emphasizing OPay's commitment to educational empowerment and financial inclusion.

The scheme will provide scholarships to 20 beneficiary institutions per academic session for a duration of 10 years. The Vice Chancellor of UNN, Professor Simon Uchenna Ortuanya, praised OPay's initiative, highlighting its contribution to educational development in Nigeria.

This partnership underscores OPay's dedication to fostering a brighter future for Nigerian students and promoting national growth through inclusive educational initiatives.
