Headies Awards Rescheduled to April 2027 from October

The Headies Awards have officially announced the postponement of their 18th edition, originally scheduled for October 23, 2026. The new dates for the ceremony are set for April 10-11, 2027.

This change means that fans, nominees, and other stakeholders will have to wait several additional months for one of Nigeria's most significant music award events. Despite the postponement, anticipation for the ceremony is expected to remain high as attention shifts to the new dates and further details about the event.

The Headies Awards have a long-standing reputation as a prominent platform that celebrates achievements in Nigerian and African music, recognizing artists, producers, songwriters, and other industry professionals. Additional information regarding the venue, program of activities, and other arrangements for the rescheduled ceremony will be communicated by the organizers ahead of April 2027.
