Enugu Unveils 'Odumeze' as 2026 Sports Festival Mascot

On August 28, 2026, the National Sports Commission (NSC), in partnership with the Local Organising Committee (LOC) and Main Organising Committee (MOC), unveiled the official mascot for the National Sports Festival (NSF) set for November 2026 in Enugu State. The unveiling took place at the Enugu State International Conference Centre, following an inspection of facilities in preparation for the festival.

The mascot, named 'Odumeze', symbolizes Boldness, Strength, and Power, reflecting the spirit of the Games and the identity of Enugu State. Barr.

Ifeanyi Ossai, the Enugu State deputy governor, represented Governor Dr. Peter Mbah during the ceremony. Hon. Bukola Olopade, Director-General of the NSC, emphasized the importance of this event in generating excitement for the Games nationwide.
