Bright Osayi-Samuel Targeted by Galatasaray for Transfer

Bright Osayi-Samuel, a Nigerian footballer, is reportedly on the radar of Turkish giants Galatasaray for the upcoming season. This interest is particularly notable as Osayi-Samuel previously spent four and a half seasons with Galatasaray's fierce city rivals, Fenerbahçe, where he made 178 appearances, scored seven goals, and provided 15 assists, contributing to Fenerbahçe's Turkish Cup triumph in the 2022-23 season.

He joined Birmingham City last summer and is currently under contract until June 2028. This season, he has made 22 appearances and contributed one assist across 1,242 minutes of action.

Osayi-Samuel is not new to transfer speculation in Turkey, having been close to joining Beşiktaş last summer, although that deal fell apart at the final stage. Galatasaray is also looking to strengthen their squad, with Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen being a central figure in their market strategy.
