Oshiomhole Praises Akpabio's Leadership for Unity

Adams Oshiomhole, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), commended Godswill Akpabio's leadership style during a statement made through Esem Eyiboh, Akpabio's special adviser on media and public affairs. Oshiomhole noted that Akpabio's approach, which emphasizes unity and cooperation, has successfully attracted opposition politicians to the APC without pressure or confrontation.

He humorously suggested that Akpabio deserves a Guinness World Record for the seamless political defections occurring under his leadership. Akpabio, who became Senate President in June 2023, has pledged to prioritize national interests above partisan politics.

Oshiomhole's remarks align with a broader strategy to enhance the APC's influence through collaborative efforts, especially as Nigeria faces economic and security challenges. Other political leaders, including Benjamin Kalu and Mondai Okpebholo, also praised Akpabio's vision and development-driven approach, which aims to reduce political tensions and support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's agenda for economic reform ahead of the 2027 elections.
