Oshodi Becomes First African Director of WTT

On the occasion of an ITTF executive board meeting held at the WTT headquarters in Singapore, Oshodi was appointed as the first Africa director of World Table Tennis (WTT). This appointment was announced by ITTF President Petra Sörling, who emphasized that it signifies the ITTF's commitment to closer oversight of WTT's governance and strategic direction.

Oshodi, who serves as the President of the African Table Tennis Federation, expressed his enthusiasm for contributing to the board's efforts to establish a solid foundation for WTT's long-term development. Sörling noted that Oshodi's appointment marks a historic milestone, making him the first African to serve as a full director on the WTT board.

The ITTF aims to build a strong structure for the growth of table tennis in Africa, ensuring sustainable governance and accountability to enhance the sport's potential among players and fans.
