Galatasaray's President Confirms Osimhen Not for Sale

Dursun Özbek, the president of Galatasaray, firmly stated that the club has no plans to sell Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, despite growing interest from top European clubs. In an interview with Sabah, Özbek acknowledged the elite interest in Osimhen, attributing it to his outstanding performance, which has made him a key player for the club.

Osimhen, 27, has had an exceptional season, scoring 22 goals and providing eight assists in 33 appearances, directly contributing to 30 goals and helping Galatasaray secure their fourth consecutive Süper Lig title and reach the UEFA Champions League Round of 16. Recent reports indicated that Real Madrid made a €150 million bid for Atlético Madrid's Julián Álvarez, suggesting they may turn their attention to Osimhen, who is also linked with Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United.

Galatasaray recently completed a €75 million transfer fee payment to Napoli, and the club's officials have stated that they value Osimhen at €150 million, refusing to entertain lower offers. Osimhen's contract with Galatasaray runs until 2029.
