Osimhen Refuses Hospital Discharge After Surgery

Victor Osimhen, a striker for Galatasaray, underwent surgery on his arm last Monday morning. Following the procedure, it was initially reported that he would be discharged the next day.

However, Osimhen made a request to the hospital administration to remain under care, stating he did not want to be discharged yet. Turkish journalist Haluk Y.

Rekli disclosed this information, noting that Osimhen's family was not allowed to visit him in the hospital room due to security measures. The surgery was necessitated by an injury Osimhen sustained during Galatasaray's UEFA Champions League Round of 16 second leg defeat against Liverpool earlier in the month.

Osimhen's decision to stay in the hospital indicates his desire for a thorough recovery before returning to play.
