Oyetola Confident APC Will Win Osun 2026 Governorship

Adegboyega Oyetola, the former governor of Osun State and a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stated his confidence in the party's ability to win the 2026 governorship election during an address in Iragbiji, Osun State, on Friday. Oyetola emphasized that preparations for the election are already underway and urged party members and residents not to be troubled by political developments in the state.

He reassured them that the APC remains focused on mobilizing efforts to ensure victory, invoking divine support for their cause. Oyetola also highlighted the importance of citizens rallying around the federal government's economic and social reforms led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which aim to strengthen Nigeria's economy.

He encouraged eligible residents of Osun State to participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), framing voter registration as a civic responsibility.
