Aremo Adekunle Alao Appointed SUBEB Chairman in Osun

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has appointed Aremo Adekunle Alao as the new Executive Chairman of the Osun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), effective from July 1, 2026. The appointment was confirmed in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr.

Teslim Igbalaye. Governor Adeleke congratulated Alao on his well-deserved appointment and urged him to utilize his extensive experience for the effective implementation of SUBEB's mandates.

Aremo Alao is recognized as a seasoned and grassroots politician, having served as a two-time Commissioner in Osun State and most recently as a Federal Commissioner at the Public Complaints Commission. He holds advanced degrees in Public Policy, a Master of Public Administration (MPA), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), which contribute to his qualifications for this new role.
