Osun ALGON Denies Fund Diversion Allegations by State Assembly

The Osun State chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) addressed accusations of fund diversion by the Osun State House of Assembly. ALGON, affiliated with the APC, explained that local council finances were managed in compliance with existing laws, with Chairman Abiodun Idowu emphasizing adherence to statutory requirements.

The ALGON statement aimed to dispel claims of financial impropriety and stressed that Governor Adegboyega Oyetola was not involved in local government administration, contrary to assertions by the Assembly.
