APC Candidate's Team Distributes Cash Ahead of Osun Election

A video has emerged online depicting the team of Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Osun State, distributing N1000 notes to women. This incident occurred during a mega rally in Osogbo, the state capital, in support of Oyebamiji, just days before the state governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026.

Prominent figures at the rally included Edo North Senator Adams Oshiomhole, who asserted that Osun State deserved the best leadership, which he believed was embodied in Oyebamiji's candidacy. Oshiomhole emphasized the APC's commitment to peace and urged voters to focus on casting their votes rather than engaging in violence.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio also addressed the crowd, urging Oyebamiji to initiate transformative changes in Osun State immediately upon taking office, stressing the importance of delivering dividends of democracy to the people rather than relying on social media.
