Davido to Call Trump if Osun Election Goes Wrong

David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, expressed his intention to seek the intervention of U.S. President Donald Trump if there are issues during the Osun State governorship election.

This statement was made during a livestream with content creator Carter Efe, where Davido discussed his political interests and concerns regarding Nigeria's electoral system. He indicated that he would consider entering politics only if the electoral process is transparent and allows for free voting.

Davido stated, “Until there’s transparency, then I can go ahead with politics because nobody can beat me in any election,” emphasizing his confidence in winning a fairly conducted election. He expressed his anticipation for the upcoming Osun election, stating, “I want to see what they are going to do in Osun.

We are waiting.” If dissatisfied with the electoral process, Davido mentioned he would tag and call Trump, even going to the White House to voice his concerns, asserting that his message would reach the president. He urged those involved in the electoral process to allow the people of Osun State to freely choose their next governor.
