Davido to Address Security and INEC Ahead of Osun Poll

David Adeleke, known as Davido, will address journalists and citizens on Wednesday regarding security and the Independent National Electoral Commission’s preparations for the 2026 Osun State governorship election. The press conference is set for 11 am at Imole House, Ogo-Oluwa, Osogbo.

Davido announced the briefing on X, stating he would discuss security, INEC, and transparency issues. He was recently appointed Chairman of the Imole Youth Mobilisation Committee for Governor Ademola Adeleke’s re-election campaign.

The upcoming election is scheduled for August 15, with Adeleke of the Accord Party seeking a second term. Davido, who is the governor’s nephew, is actively involved in the campaign, focusing on youth mobilization and participating in various political activities across Osun State.
