Osun Govt Officials Sue IGP Over Alleged Police Harassment

Osun State government officials have filed a lawsuit against the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, at the Federal High Court in Osogbo. They accuse the police of harassment and intimidation aimed at disrupting their official duties, particularly in the lead-up to the governorship election.

The officials claim the police actions are politically motivated to silence them. The lawsuit seeks to prevent further violations of their rights as guaranteed by the Nigerian constitution.
