Oyinlola and PDP Leaders Endorse APC's Oyebamiji

On Sunday, former Osun Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, alongside other chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), endorsed Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, ahead of the August 15 election. Oyinlola stated that their support for Oyebamiji was driven by the need for inclusive leadership and the overall interest of Osun State, clarifying that they remain loyal to the PDP.

He expressed disappointment with the current administration under Governor Ademola Adeleke, citing a lack of inclusiveness in governance. Oyinlola urged Oyebamiji to ensure that all parts of Osun feel represented in his administration and identified key areas for attention, including good governance, economic development, and youth empowerment.

He reassured PDP members that their endorsement of Oyebamiji does not signify a defection from the party but rather an electoral choice prioritizing the state's development.
