Oyinlola Backs APC's Oyebamiji Over Adeleke in Osun

Olagunsoye Oyinlola, the former Governor of Osun State, publicly supported Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, over the incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke in the upcoming election. Oyinlola expressed no regrets about his decision, attributing it to the national crisis within the Peoples Democratic Party and a perceived lack of consultation from Adeleke, who recently switched to the Accord Party.

He criticized Adeleke's administration for concentrating major government projects in Ede, the governor's hometown, stating that out of N362 billion spent on projects, N260.5 billion was allocated to Ede. Oyinlola also addressed Adeleke's claim regarding a vehicle he received, clarifying that it was provided by the Osun State Government under a law entitling former governors to a vehicle every four years, not a personal gift from Adeleke.
