Osun PDP Ife Constituency Passes Vote of No Confidence on Deputy Governor Amid Party Discord

The Ife Federal Constituency of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State passed a vote of no confidence on Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi, citing alleged activities affecting the party. The decision was made during a meeting at the residence of Professor Wale Oladipo, the Chairman of Ife East local government area.

The vote of no confidence was also directed at Olasunkanmi Makinde, known as Benco. The party leaders expressed dissatisfaction over a member of the House of Representatives, Bimbo Ajilesoro, defecting from the PDP despite winning the seat on the party's platform.

The leaders condemned the alleged invitation of thugs to a constituency meeting.
