Osun PDP Passes Vote of No Confidence in Deputy Governor and Ex-National Secretary, Alleges Opposition Ties

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ife Federal Constituency, Osun State, passed a vote of no confidence in Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi and former National Secretary Wale Oladipo. The vote was based on alleged activities, including holding meetings with opposition members.

The constituency's financial secretary and former deputy speaker were among the 27 party members who signed the communiqué expressing loss of confidence in the mentioned officials. However, Oladipo dismissed the claims, stating that the activities were misinterpreted.

The PDP chairman in the state, Sunday Bisi, expressed concerns about maintaining party unity amidst the internal discord.
